My baby Adelyn is 8.5 months, and she is mobile! She can't crawl yet, but she has learned how to roll, roll, roll... And she can get pretty far. We have to keep an eye on her now.
Adelyn is not an early talker like her sister, but she can wave her hands and to say hi or bye. She can say "mum-mum" for food. And I know she wants to say stuff, but most of the time it comes out as babble and screams.
Right now, she has her two bottom teeth, and I think more will be coming soon. She drools a lot, and everything that she grabs goes into her mouth.
Adelyn is on a good routine for naps. She has a morning nap, and another nap at the same time as Layla's afternoon nap which is good for me.
Adelyn is eating pureed food, made from the magic bullet. This includes yams, carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, apples, pears, but she's not a big fan of peas. She also enjoys mushed avocados, bananas, and mangoes. She doesn't mind eating egg yolk. She has had fish, and congee. She loves Lil' Ones yogurt. She also likes Baby Mum-mums, and Farley biscuits. We are definitely letting her experience more foods faster than Layla. She's had ice cream and mango pudding already, I remember Layla didn't have sweets until after her first birthday.
When Adelyn likes what she is eating she will pucker her mouth after each mouthful. It's very quick, and hard to get it on camera. Thanks Michelle Yee Yee for capturing that moment.
Adelyn is still pretty good with the potty. We are able to catch most poops, and a few pees if we are lucky.
Adelyn loves to play, such as peek-a-boo, rolling/throwing a ball, doing nursery rhymes together, pretending to chase her, and exploring new toys.
She's also very affectionate. She likes to give hugs and kisses. And we love giving them back.
