Easter was really fun this year. Even though the girls are recovering from colds, they managed to have a great time celebrating at home. The weather turned out to be nice on Easter Sunday, so we had an outdoor easter egg hunt.
Layla loved it! She was very excited when she found the eggs. Inside each egg there was a mini-egg, and Layla was allowed to eat some of the "gee-go-lic," and share the rest. Yee Yee and Uncle Mike also brought treats for the girls.
Adelyn had fun watching her sister, and playing with the eggs. It was very cute to watch her suck on the plastic eggs. The egg hunt was so fun that we continued to hide the empty eggs inside, and Layla enjoyed looking for the eggs indoors as well. I can't wait for next year when Adelyn will be old enough to look for eggs too. To complete the day, we had both sides of the family over for a nice dinner.
