Happy Chinese New Year!

Last Sunday, we failed to make it out to Aberdeen Mall for the Chinese New Year celebrations. First, we went to the very cold farmer's market in Steveston, the kids got to make some crafts, and we picked up some fresh kettle corn. Then we had a little mishap in the car, and we had to head back home. On the way, we saw that the line up to get into the parking lot of Aberdeen was insane!

So today, being a Friday, it was a perfect day to go to Richmond. The girls were delighted to see the giant lanterns and the decorated cherry blossom trees. What they like most, were the rides in the food court, and visiting the toy stores. We even made a trip to Daiso, and the girls each left with a pinwheel in hand. Like cute little rabbits, they were jumping with joy!
