Happy Birthday Layla!
My St. Patrick's Baby just turned two. Layla celebrated with a swimming pool party at Eileen Daily with some friends. It was so fun to see her splashing with her friends. We hope everyone had a great time.
At two years old,
- Layla is good at singing songs. She knows how to sing the Alphabet song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Down by the Bay, The Wheels on the Bus, Rain is Falling Down, Rain Rain Go Away, Hopping Hopping, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Zoom Zoom Zoom, I'm a Little Teapot, Frere Jacques, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and more. And of course Happy Birthday!
- Layla is not a big fan of the potty, although she can tell us when she needs to pooh pooh.
- Layla loves her Mui Mui. She is very good at playing with Adelyn. One of her favourite activities is lying in Adelyn's bed, holding Addy's hand, and looking at her mobile.
- Layla enjoys eating FRUIT. I'm glad that summer is coming soon, and strawberries are in season already. She loves grapes, oranges, blueberries, apples, mangoes, pineapples... She takes after her dad.
- Layla also enjoys eating with a spoon. She likes soup with crackers, yohurt, and macaroni dishes... and ice cream!
- Layla knows her colours, the ABC song, she can count to ten in English and Chinese.
- Layla loves playing playdoh, colouring, building forts, playing outside, reading, stickers, riding the merry-go-round rides, going to the park, and swimming.
- I love it when she comes up to me and puts her arms around me and says "I love you too, Mama."
Layla, you are my sunshine. You make our family very happy and bright. We love you so much! Happy Happy Birthday!
